The league rules and
regulations appear on this page. Read the rules
carefully and contact the league commissioner if you have any
questions. This list of rules is not guaranteed to be complete. Any
items not specifically covered in the rules are at the discretion of
the league commissioner.
Object
1) Each week you
will predict the winners of NFL games.
2) You will earn
a pool "Win" for each correct pick that you make.
3) Tie games
count as a pool "Loss".
Weekly Picks Deadline
The deadline for
submitting picks will be strictly enforced. The
deadline for each week will appear at the top of the "Pick Sheet" and
(unless otherwise indicated) will be the game time of the first game
each week.
It is each player's responsibility to
ensure that their entry is submitted before the deadline. Due to
the potential for technical difficulties regarding the website, it is
strongly recommended that picks be entered as soon as possible.
All payments (including paypal charges) must be
received before the first game of the new week, whether that be a
Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday game. Picks submitted without
complete payment will be void.
Payments
can be made by paypal (to rrking13@comcast.net), money order, cash, or
personal check if you desire. You can pay for multiple or single
weeks at a time.
For individuals I work with: Pool money
and hand written forms will NOT be accepted during working hours
or on company property! Absolutely no exceptions!
You can play as many forms as you like as
long as you pay for each submission. When playing multiple forms
please use different names so I can tell forms apart. ie: Joe
Smith, Joe Smith1, Joe Smith2 and so on.
Users of Paypal will have an
additional charge.
Because there is a service charge to receive money through Paypal,
there will be an additional charge above the $3 pool entry. The
charge is not anymore than it would be to send payment by US mail or by
purchasing a money order. The Paypal charge is a base of $.30 and
then 2.9% of the total dollar amount. So if you were to send one
weeks entry fee you would need to send the $3 entry fee, $.30 Paypal
base charge, then the 2.9% fee, which would equal $.10 (rounded up from
.957) So the total for one weeks entry would be $3.40. (only if
you'r using Paypal. All fees will be rounded to the nearest
cent) All other methods of payment will be $3. Cost of
postage/money order would be absorbed on your end, not mine.
There is NO profit on my end. The extra
fees are simply to absorb my cost of Paypal. Please be advised if
you'r paying for multiple weeks or multiple entries through paypal to
add not only the one time base fee of $.30 but 2.9% to the total dollar
amount of weeks played. examples below.
1 week $3 + $.30 + $.10 = $3.40
2 weeks $6 + $.30 + $.18 = $6.48
5 weeks $15 + $.30 + $.44 = $15.74
17 weeks $51 + $.30 + $1.49 = $52.79

Missing Picks
If there are
missing picks on your pick sheet, a pick will be assigned
to you as follows. You will be assigned the underdog (or away team if
there is no underdog). If you forget to enter a tie-breaker pick, the
tie-breaker will remain unpicked.
Weekly Tie-Breaker
If there is a tie
between two or more players each week, the tie will
be broken as follows:
1) Picking the
total score of the Monday Night Football game. If two or more
tied players pick the same tiebreaker score the pot will be split
evenly.
Season Total
The total number
of wins and losses each week will be combined to
determine the season totals.
Season Tie-Breaker
If there is a tie
between two or more players for the season winner,
the tie will be broken as follows:
1) Picking the
total score of the "tie-breaker" game. (game for season tiebreaker will
be picked if needed)
2) The player who
has won the most weeks.
3) The player
with the lowest cumulative weekly tie-breaker
differential. If a player did not make a tie-breaker pick for any week,
their tie-break differential for that week will be assigned a value of

Entry Fee
Entry fee will
remain the same as last year for regular season games. The entry fee is
$3 per week.
You can pay weekly or for multiple weeks at a time. Pre-season games
will be free. Post season game fees are still yet to be determined. You
may use any winnings throughout the season as entry fees. Contact
me if you wish to use your winnings as payment for remaining weeks.
Prize
The winner of each week can collect their winnings
in person in the form of cash or by US standard postage in the form of
money order. Postage and money order cost will be deducted from
the winning pot. Email address or some other form of contact must
be provided on each form submitted for prize claim purposes.
Winners will be notified by or before
Tuesday evening by email or in person.
